Just a quick thought, and I'd love this to be put to bramall and the board.... They were all involved in the heyday of the championship when we getting 10k plus and playing good stuff....... So terry, wheres it gone wrong??? IMO you carry the can for what's happening not pd.

Only one of the board has left since then.  We still rely on the financial input from TB and DW that's for sure.

In my eyes along with Ryan are the culprits for this demise, Ryan though hasn't got the money.
If you swapped their wealth around we'd have been in the premiership the last few years

Top half budget, he had to sell husband to sign players
how do we know what players he wanted to sign but couldn't because of the
budget and the board wanting more youth players involved
Name me a top half budged team that names a lot of youth players has subs
A few of us said with the squad size we would struggle to avoid relegation with this plan, but we got shot down

And now the people who agreed with the this long plan of nurchring youth players are calling for dickov head??

Or saying I was right , but the board have made big mistakes, at the start of the season we had a decent side to build on but dickov couldn't bring any players in so we are paying the price of having to small a squad , would baily and Clarke have made a difference ?and other targets dickov must of had

I personally don't think that's the reason for our losing of games though.  Last night Dickov had Keegan, Bennett, Main, Robinson, Evina as subs he could bring on that are well established.  Plus a goalkeeper and young full back.  You look at the 11 that started and they should be good enough.  The only one you could question was Wakefield and he's actually IMO done very well and is rapidly improving.

I don't as such think it's the players we have but the way they're played.  Could we strengthen in some areas?  Perhaps at full backs, but the loan market still hasn't been utilised.  What is it that LM and Furman are doing at international level that they aren't in our side?  Why has Forrester not performed and been ill tempered?  Why does Wellens look a shade of what he can be?  It does make you wonder about the manager.

Granted others may think it is the players we have, but I look at them and don't see that many sides with better players than us, which is telling.

Fact is we are sprinkled with ex championsip players, & players who should be easily good enough for this league, now however you dress it up the league position & performances are not good enough even given the upheaval of pre-season. Personally I would love the manager to turn it around, just for stability, therefore I think the next 3 or 4 games will be pivotal for the rest of our season.
