Evans is still protesting innocence - fair enough let the legal system sort it out.

If he came out and said "I did wrong, I apologise to my victim.  I accept my punishment" then he would face less of an issue now.  He believes he is innocent so he won't say that.

It is nothing to do with being at Shef Utd IMHO.

And still not much talk about the match bobjimwilly which must be frustrating for you given your OP & the fact that there is already a thread open on the charged rapist if people wish to discuss his 'merits'.

Let's hope the weather's fair, the ground full & buzzing & we see a cracking local derby with a victory for the Rovers.

It's not acceptable to make racist chants at a football ground and should not be acceptable to make paedophile chants (weed fans against rotherham) nor rapist chants at the game on Saturday

I'm not a kill joy and enjoy a good atmosphere and banter amongst fans along with everyone else but they really should be topics that are not touched and the FA should set the standards

did they get the north end of the east stand too?  If so, they couldn't get any more anyway.

Yes, they've got the north end of the East Stand as well. They've sold 4350 tickets so I'm guessing there'll be a few in our end as well.

So they couldn't have got more even if they asked...

I am sure there will be the occasional one or two here and there.  Not a problem if they behave themselves really.

In 2008/9 I brought a friend along, a Blade, who used my daughter's ST seat.  My friend watched the game and didn't make an issue of being a Blade.  We dominated the game but somehow contrived to lose 0-2.  Wasn't a problem.

"Contrived" being the operative word . That's a game we should have won hands down , there were some Blades chortling that day.
Please not today , we pass, take our chances and leave their 4000+ dismayed and chastened by the experience  ;)  :rtid:

Yes hoola, my friend could not comprehend that result...

Tough game today.  The Blades don't seem to pose a goal threat like Bristol did or MK Dons, but then neither do we.  Can't call this one especially with Butler unavailable, but we need to be hard to beat and compete for the ball for 90+ mins.
