Man Utd

Don't you just feel for them?

Everything was against them last night.

Pitch, ref, fans. Everything against them.

Oh aye. Apparent from that quarter-of-a-billion quid that they've spent on players.

They must have been gutted it was away !

LVG said ....

The former Netherlands coach felt his side fell into the trap of not playing their natural game in the first half, a mistake he said they also made in the last round against Yeovil Town and in their Premier League game against QPR.

"We make the same error as against Yeovil Town and against QPR, we did the same playing style more or less in the first half," Van Gaal explained

... is that not his job to make sure they pick and stick to a formation ?

I've no really strong feelings for or against Man United. However a part of me can't help but be amused by their fall from grace.

I have also believed for a long time that Van Gaal is a very overrated manager. It is good to see my argument being proved correct by events at United.

Further to van Gaal, I see he rested Rooney and Mata and left Van Persie on the bench. This despite the fact that United have no European commitments and the FA Cup represents their only realistic chance of a trophy. As I said, vastly overrated manager.

Yes strange decision as its the only thing they can win .... long may his "dithering" continue

I DO have strong feelings on Man U and it is good to see them battling (albeit against Yeovil and Cambridge) and scrabbling to try to win a Trophy that a few years ago they cast aside with disdain by not even bothering to enter !

Sorry Brad City I hope you have a good day at Chelsea but then Chelsea go on to draw Man U at SB

I don't know. I think I might manage a wry smile or two if Man City or Chelsea slip up today.

Wish I had! With all the metalwork I have on my leg you'd think it was bionic now.

Bit like my back then TRB I've asked my local to attach a big magnet just under the top of the bar so I can stand there and be held up when I've had a few

And Brad City's team was 'put together' for a mere £7,000! Jon Stead, what a coup getting him in on loan. Just shows what can be achieved with the right man at the helm.

Mirror or Metro saying Bookies had a field day - but some Punters had doubles - and had Accumulators featuring both those Results AND one Bloke in Telford had a tenner on Bradford to win 4-2 @ 500/1 !

Bet in Play was offering 5000/1 when Chelsea were 2-0 up as well

I had £2.50 Jon Stead to score and Bradford to win 80-1, nice £200 for me.
