Old Donny bands
« on January 29, 2015, 10:52:36 pm by StocktonRover »
Just been browsing on tinterweb and came across a couple of Donny bands that I remember thoroughly enjoying in my earlier years.

I remember the seeing the uncool Dance band regularly and in particular remember doing the disco supporting one of their gigs at Wombwell reform club on a day when Barnsley played away at Man U in a cup game. when the train returned into Barnsley it all kicked of in the club and the gig was abandoned.

This was probably their best known song:-

I also remember seeing the Gents perform regularly.

This one was a popular choice at the time:-

Ah, they were good days....
