Labour lies and propaganda
« on March 22, 2015, 03:58:51 pm by IC1967 »
I've just had Labour's election drivel posted through my letterbox. What a load of garbage.

They've got a separate flyer attacking UKIP. The main headline -'Think you should have to pay to see your GP? UKIP do'. No they don't. What a blatant lie. During the recent local elections I sent the Labour canvasser away with a flea in his ear when he repeated this blatant lie. On the other side of the flyer there are more lies- 'Higher taxes for working families'. Another blatant lie. Just the opposite is true. They want anyone earning the minimum wage to be exempt from tax. This means the personal allowance will be greatly increased benefiting all tax payers. Next blatant lie - Huge tax giveaways for the rich. They don't propose to reduce any taxes to benefit the rich during the next parliament. Next blatant lie - 'Deep cuts to the public services you rely on'. They propose to get rid of quangos and middle management so more can be spent on the front line. They then repeat the lie again that UKIP want to charge patients to see a GP.

They then brag about Labour freezing energy bills. What a great policy. We are all worse off due to the energy companies factoring in the risk of this daft policy ever being implemented. Energy bills haven't been reduced by as much as they would normally have been due to the uncertainty and meddling in the market that Labour have embarked on. They then claim they will take tough action on immigration! No they won't. UKIP will. Labour won't even let us have a referendum. They advise canvassers to steer people onto another issue because they've got nothing positive to say about the issue. I could go on.

Then in the main newsletter they claim it's time to back the next generation. Who do they hold up as the best example? Origin Broadband! This company left all it's customers without broadband for months and were a classic example of terrible customer service. Labour thinks they are great! Typical Labour knowing nothing about business.

My piss is really boiling. There are many more idiotic statements in the newsletter but I've got a life to lead and can't be arsed with going through them all.

I'll be contacting Rosie Winterton and making my displeasure felt. They must think the public are incredibly thick to fall for all this garbage. There should be a law about lying so blatantly. Just shows how much contempt they have for the electorate and how desperate they are.
