I can't understand the format of the Voice. It's a show that judges the singers purely on the quality of their voice, the idea being that the judges have their backs to the performers so that they are not influenced by the singers looks.

Susan Boyle would have been an international star by now had she gone on that show instead of BGT!

We need the rebels, the controversial and the unique to stem creativity in music which is everything this type of show doesn’t want to support.
