It reminds me of when the blades sacked Blackwell. They honestly think they deserve a 'big name' manager (or someone foreign) but they'll end up with someone whose worse than they've got.

Feel sorry for gray done nothing wrong deserved a chance next season now they have a new pitch and more money.
Maybe the new man expected top 2 but Gray may have said play offs

... At least driving home after matches listening to praise or grumble might be a bit more entertaining. He always seemed to go on and on and on in his post-match interview, in that monotonous tone!!

What's the point in over achieving if the next thing they get Is the sack. I would say in most peoples eyes they ( Wendies), did better than expected. The new managerial set up clearly didn't understand who was doing what, as that was apparent in their interviews.
Several clubs going down the European coaching guru at the mo. It will be a fad and then dissapear. Why let the man sort out a retained list, sign old players back on and then sack him? Quite pathetic.

Their pitch was shocking. That contributed to the poor home form and has been completely taken up and a Desso laid in its place.

Once they were taken over it was only a matter of time before he went.
Thought he did ok with them given the resources he had available and where they were when Jones left.
The new owners no doubt want their own man.

I was just about to dive in and say this is ridiculous, but on second thoughts nothing surprises me anymore.

Wendies have had some poor managers but this guy was good, IS good.
Yes, alright, he droned on a bit on Football Heaven but that's mainly because the poor presenters on there allowed him to.
But if you cut through his monotone delivery and listened to what he actually had to say, it was sensible, astute, intelligent. I actually enjoyed listening to him and grudgingly respected him.

This is a crazy, short-sighted, wrong decision by the Wendies and I hope they live to regret it.
I'd have him as Rovers manager.
