I have a very strange feeling that it is Friday and it will soon be the weekend. Anyone else getting this feeling?

I've got a feeling we might make 1 or 2 signings today, if the rumours are right that were going around at frickly who the full back is then another good signing, have to wait and see.

However I think many would agree that the recruitment so far has been well done, and not rushing into signings just for the sake of pacifying the more impatient fans. We need 3-4 more players, and I think, following the way we have done business so far, these will come in good time.

PD said last he didn't want to take any trialists. I think we've had our fingers burnt too often that way.

What's impressed me is not only the quality of the signings but how we've worked under the radar. I think only Williams was the subject of speculation in the media before we signed him.

yes the quality is plain to see, just ad a look on sky bet 20.1 for us to win league does anyone no of better odds? if the next 2 sighnings are of the same quality theres 40 quid going on

Doesn't look like we've done any business today then. I suppose there is nothing to stop us doing a deal tomorrow then sorting out the paperwork on Monday.

Air Tickets would have to have been purchased well in advance at this time of year, so I can't see any last minute signings going on the trip.

I don't think that signing Mikael Forssell, at this stage of his career, would have any impact on the starting line up.

yes think it is? that's why I was wondering about how and what formation we would play unless we have a verry strong bench witch wouldn't be a bad thing

I would have thought 2 FB's and a winger are of much greater importance.

The defence is nowhere near sorted yet and its imperative that 2 quality FB's are acquired ASAP (of course, PD may already know that he has 1 or 2 waiting to sign as soon as they fly back from Portugal).
