I've calmed down a bit now, since I first read Clark was 1/6 so I've come up with a theory - Evans is leaked as our new manager - f*ck me say the fans anyone but Evans! Then it's Clark! F*ck me say the fans, give me Evans! Then we get someone else and we all say f*ck me at least it's not Clark or Evans and support the new manager, whoever it is!

I'm hanging on to this theory or I would be having nightmares tonight thinking of the next months/years of those Clark interviews explaining why we're going down and it's not his fault!

It won't matter who gets the job, it's still the same squad of players.
We are weak in two areas defence and midfield, I can't see the Board giving whoever the new manager is enough loose change to put both areas to rights so get used to the idea that this season is going to be a struggle judging on performances to date.

I think I disagree rr! I would hope that they will be very happy with their appointment and will entrust him/her to get it right and do as much as they can to provide him/her with the tools needed! Tho obviously due to transfer windows and suchlike that won't be possible but the time scale for new man/woman to sort what they want/need is sufficient from now - as long as they are able in the interim to steady the ship and evolve short term inprovements!
