Tommy Rowe

Some player. Disrupts play high up the field and pits the opposition on the back foot. Some great work yesterday and obviously set up Williams for the second. I hope he stays as long as Copps has.

This season coming together nicely. RTID.

If we could keep this team together to grow as we climb the leagues there is no reason we cant get all the wayto the championship with the same side

That's my feelings as well.

I would actually suggest Tommy Rowe has been ticking along so far this season. Good but not brilliant.

We know he's got an extra gear, we know he can be brilliant.

I think he's better at the tip of a diamond than he is on the left, personally.

I agree with this, I think it's only because he's our only midfielder bar Calder who is left footed that to give the team balance he started the season there. The way copps has started the season playing at the tip of the diamond means he will stay there for some time yet.

Agree with those above, he's been a tad disappointing but gradually improving. He had two real good shooting chances but got neither on target.

Didn't expect Copps to outshine him but hey, it's a team game. He's got a good attitude and work ethic so he'll have an impact alright.

The thing I like about Rowe is that despite seeming to be 'ticking over' he's still producing.

4 assists and 2 goals already this season. Okay, 1 penalty but at least he can score them!

He obviously set a standard last season that is near impossible to keep going over 46 games of a long season.

What we have this season is consistency in strikers who are scoring and a midfield who are getting assists. It's been a while!

I agree with the above though. In the bigger games I get the feeling we can rely on Rowe to do something!

He can be brilliant but even his 'average' is far too good for this level! Still can't quite believe we managed to get him to stay!

You could tie his legs together and he would still perform at 7 out of 10 against anyone in this division. He would stand out more playing in Copps' position maybe but his time will come playing there.

On Saturday with Blair playing deep and Evina too, we lacked width IMHO.  When Calder came on I expected him to go out left, Rowe central and Copps wider right with Blair behind.  Calder played out on the right for a while which didn't suit.

Rowe will look a bit less effective whilst Copps is doing so well in the centre.

Rowe is class but on Saturday's showing Marquis is the most likely to fire up  the rest of the team . His work rate and empassioned body language is motivating . He just needs to curb the rushes of anger .
Tommy's Rowe's pull back for Williams to score did contrast with Williams's own failure to pull back for Houghton in the same type of attacking move .

Is that 10 already from Williams and marquis before the end of September,  that's some going..  when did we last have two goalscoring strikers...

No I think Williams has 5 and Marquis 4.  Copps also has 4 I think?

This is in 10 games in total.
