If these two are the best in the world, then boxing is in big trouble, Frank Bruno was just above average and he would have taken either out with a knockout.

It's a poor division.

His team must know how he is by now. You'd have thought that somebody would've stepped in and stopped him from embarrassing himself like that.

Agreed. His rendition of "only one Tyson Fury" made me cringe to the back 9's.

After watching Deontay Wilder show his injured opponent huge respect by not celebrating his victory, to the then have Tyson invade the ring, show no respect whatsoever and make a complete tool of himself really was embaressing.

He's got people talking about him again thought hasn't he? Whatever it takes to sell tickets and pay per view subscriptions, he'll do it.

Szpilka was carried out on a stretcher and whilst Tyson's antics were obviously pre-planned to create the reaction you refer too, anyone with half a brain cell would realise the situation had changed and it wasn't the right time to do it.  He doesn't appear to know where the line is.

I can only go by what I do and admittedly I'm not one to follow the herd, but it has the opposite effect for me.  I wouldn't pay to watch his fights, the guys an idiot.  If he thinks by acting like a clown is the way to forward his career then that's his business.  But he won't win respect, a decent legacy or in my case extra cash by showing such disregard for the situation.

Perhaps he thinks if people really don't like him they'll pay to watch him lose.

Mayweather made millions off of doing just that. As did Chael Sonnen over in UFC, 2 of the very best at fight promotion in history, by playing the bad guy - in Sonnen's case it made him millions despite being an average fighter.

I do think Fury is trying to do that, but he's not 1/10th as funny or as charming as those two so he just comes across as a Kitson, rather than some cool rogue type.

Easy for me to say behind a keyboard, I know.

The other 2 may well have been very shrewd businessmen....Fury is just thick

Can't argue with that. His team needs to get him under control. Reminds me of Haye's gang rape comment a few years back. There's nothing wrong with a boxer being a bit of a meathead but when said meatheads start thinking they can talk like Ali it gets embarrassing. Just shut up and let your promoter do it for you.

I can understand his antics before the Wlad fight (after all Haye did the same thing) but I can't understand why he continues with them now he's the Champion. He doesn't need to insult people to get the big fights, he can get them on merit.

Can't work out if he's trying to play this bad guy persona, or if he is just that brash in real life.

f***ing Frank Bruno. He was f***ing moderate.

''You wouldn't want a punch on the snout from him''!. He would clean up among this shower of heavyweights, Tyson Fury, Bruno would have finished him in three rounds.
Klitschko would have taken longer but Bruno would have done him as well. The only one he would have had problems with David Haye, the constant movement and quick hands would have given him problems.

Tyson Fury may be stupid, but he's certainly not thick. He lets himself down routinely, but I like him. When you listen to his sit down interviews (Behind the Gloves etc.) he's witty, articulate and interesting. He just knows how to press the self destruct and the press know how to lead him into giving them a headline. He's the best out there right now, and if he keeps his focus he'll make Wilder look poor. Wilder's padded record is largely embarrassing to the sport.

As for Bruno, lovely guy but one shot on his chin and it was lights out. He wouldn't have ruled the division in this or any other era. Lennox would (and did) but the two are incomparable. Joshua has potential but is still a relative novice, so I hope Fury stays at the top til AJ can compete there. Then we have a British superfight.

His knowledge of boxing throughout the generations is incredible as well. He's an exceptional boxer, he made a super champion who had not been defeated in 10 years look like a timid boy in Germany. I knew he was the absolute real deal after his second fight with Chisora. Chisora is no word beater but he only ever gets beaten by very good ones. Fury absolutely destroyed him and looked to just be in exhibition mode. It amazes me people hype AJ and slag off Fury. Sums up Britain to me that fact.

Thank God the British Boxing Board of Control appears to be exercising some common sense. I love boxing, but if Bruno was allowed to return I would never watch it again. He needs saving from himself if that's how he's thinking.

It's his illness he needs something to focus on, but he would get badly hurt he has been out of the game far too long. It's probably the only thing he thought he was ever any good at, just like ex footballers it's hard for some, the board are right he needs to be protected, taking a lot more punches could do him serious damage.

He shouldn't be allowed to fight I agree with that. Whether he would get hurt or not depends on who he fights, he's still in cracking condition and he'd find some bums to knock about I'm sure.

Fury will never pass a drug test,to fond of the white powder, was brazenly snorting it in France during the Euros
