Good news

Jordan Houghton has told Paul Goodwin that he's very close to sorting out his loan extension.

Also Mitchell Lund has been given the go-ahead to resume full training.

Not quite in the good news category but the team are travelling to Plymouth by train tomorrow. Will make it easier to stretch their legs on the journey. I seem to recall they did Exeter by train too.

RB yes your correct mate. Train to Exeter then stay in the Mercure and coach to the ground on the day.
Good news about Jordan and Mitchell Lund.

Great news re Houghton. Can't see Lund getting in ahead of Alcock but good to have further options on the bench.

Gives him the option of playing Alcock at centre half though which he has done in the past.

DF said he would put Lund through a mini pre season before including him in the squad, so he should be available around Christmas, I would have thought.

Fingers crossed for the lad.

How are they going to travel from Plymouth station to Home Park? And what are the natives going to throw rocks at after the match? Are our lot just going to wander out and amble away up that track with their kit slung over their shoulders?

They will have hired a coach to pick them up when they arrive today and then take them to the ground on Saturday.

Thank goodness for that. The poor lambs. Haven't slept worrying about them finding their way from the station to the hotel.
