Next weekend's fixtures
« on March 12, 2017, 08:41:57 pm by duggiesmyhero »
Stevenage(4)v Pompey (3)
Luton(6) v Exeter(7)
Mansfield(8) v Carlisle(5)

Hopefully all 3 games will result in draws, a win midweek and  at Orient and were on our way back to league 1

We already are.
We will get more than enough points to win the league comfortably.
So many of the teams below us have to play each other as well. We have only Plymouth to play who are a contender for the top 3. But yes if the above fixtures are all draws great.
If we keep picking up points then nobody is going to catch us.
It's our results which will ultimately decide whether we will finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
The bookies have us 1/5 on to be champions. They are not stupid.

Campsall, I hate to p1ss on your bonfire, but have you looked at our games in April? Fair enough, we have 2 or 3 games before then, but we simply don't have an easy game in April - period.

I like your confidence, but the fat lady isn't even gargling yet.

I agree there is no such thing as an easy game and we do have a tough looking run of games in April.
We are better than all those teams though aren't we? That's why we are top and they are not.
You seriously don't think we will blow auto promotion from this position do you?
No the fat lady isn't singing yet but it won't be long now.
But forget last season that's gone. There is a winning mentality to this group of players and they are not aiming at promotion, they want more THE TITLE. That's the difference. 2nd best just isn't good enough for this lot.  :woohoo: :rtid:

3 wins puts us 23 pts above 4th, if that isn't as good as promoted, I don't know what is....
