Tunes what teams come out to
« on April 04, 2017, 08:07:39 pm by not on facebook »
1st place must go to Manchester United with their effort of 'this is the one ' stone roses.

I mean it's that good they should delay the kick off untill full track is played out.

There have been some terrible ones over the years I guess ,but clubs like Chelsea with liquidator and Everton with z cars albeit good tunes but it must be a tad stale comming out to same song for last donkeys years.

Tunes before games?
I get really peed off at our home games when the music is belted out at ridiculous volume until one second before kick off.
It totally destroys any chance of fans building an atmosphere.
I remarked at Grimsby how nice it was not to be subjected to the same thing.
The fans of both teams got warmed up and had a go at each other.
If the Rovers feel the need for pre match music they could at least switch it off, say ten minutes before kick off.

some of these songs are at the very heart and soul of the clubs.as much as everyone bar leeds fans hate it, MOT is one that springs to mind.

YNWA needs no introduction of course

Birmingham, Everton, Newcastle, Chelsea, Sheff Utd to name a few more.

Slightly envious that we dont have one thats enigmatic and historic that has stuck around for decades. there have been attempts - but they have all falled on their arse.

remember " the impossible dream"

and why the f*** do forest play " youve lost that loving feeling" - anyone know?

You have a good point about whatever tunes blaring out killing any crowd build up before game kicks off.suppose that is the trick 'blaring' too loud and it's shite no matter the track.

One thing that Iam really against is music played when  home team goals are scored ,this will be only positive of been a not so happy millers fan this term due to lack of goals they have netted during their relegation season.

Maybe the PA stytem at KMS is not upto the job from what I have picked up from the members of VSC forum.

Games like Doncaster v grimsby ,let the fans make the build up atmosphere ,but a game like doncaster v Newport,Cambridge, orient, notts county etc etc will need a little assistance and would not miss the correct tune to be played.

As for the notts forest one ,was that not brought in during their or just after the European cup winners years and stayed with them since.

Talking of the PA system, are there any plans to replace or upgrade this? In parts of the stadium you can barely here a thing and sounds similar to what we had at belle vue!

It's had a lot of money spent on it during the last 12 months for various reasons. Further work is currently ongoing as they try to balance the system between the concourse and the bowl.

Maybe you are the wrong person to be asking this question SM  so I throw it out to all and sundry.

We can put a man on the moon ,but what on earth can be the issues with getting the PA system at KMS to sound like quality all round the ground.is it owt to do with sound bouncing off walls etc etc .

It can't be as simple as no bass can it ,as that can't be to difficult to modify if it is the case .

I remember when Ken Avis was the 'MC' at Belle Vue he would sometimes have only one record to play pre match. He'd play Joe let Taxi by Vanessa Paradis, then it's B side, make a couple of announcements about not lighting up in the main stand before playing the same songs again!
