Graham Carey

The Plymouth fans forum seem worried he may not re-sign for them.
What do you think about him.

Doubt he'd join us. Only player to have been involved in more goals than Rowe or Copps (13 goals, 14 assists), I'd definitely take him but then who would start?

He's left footed so him on the left and Rowe central would work.

Would be funny if we did to Plymouth what we did to Yeovil with McIndoe.

He's class. Would have interest from the championship I'm sure.

He's out of contract so would be a free transfer.

I dont think its Fergie's style, but I would be publicly bidding for him. Disrupt the Plymouth camp a bit and help us get the trophy ;)

We need a replacement for Copps and he would be ideal.

We might not have to pay another club, but that slack would no doubt be made up by the size of the wedge the player and his agent would want from whoever wants him to sign for them. The highest bidder, probably.

We've got a replacement for Copps called Tommy Rowe.

On the Plymouth site they mention a Scottish 20 y/o who has some video on YouTube called Stevie Mallan as a replacement for him.

Plays for St Mirren my "second team". He's quality. The one to keep an eye on at St Mirren though is the gaffer, Jack Ross. Top manager in the making, you heard it here first.

Knowing Fergie he will have his wish list scouted and drawn up, he keeps his cards very close to his chest and keeps laying aces on the table, i cant help but feel exited by the prospect of even more class players coming our way in the summer.

The Fergie way, say we're looking but got nothing lined up then the next day we've signed another top player. Wouldn't surprise me if he's already got a list of several names, already in the bag. Can't wait to see who he does get thought as I believe he'll want to go straight up into championship.

Carey is the best midfielder in this league by a mile and would suit how we play without too much need to settle in.

I wouldn't say best by a mile at all, if Rowe had played in centre all season he is just as good if not better.

Certainly you would expect Carey to have one or two Championship clubs to choose from so we are unlikely to get a sniff of his signature. Plus, wouldn't be good PR for him if he jumped ship to a club in the same position as Plymouth.

It will be interesting though to see what calibre of player DF can attract, particularly if he's selling us as a Championship club in the making.

Rowe is the best player in this League by an absolute mile. Carey is a dirrerent kind of player but still an exceptional one.

Can't agree, he barely turns up in some games and that would not please DF at all!

I seem to remember their fans moaning the other week that he hadn't done much after Christmas.
