I agree the market is out of control, the massive amounts of money generated from TV rights is being thrown around like visiting party buses on Friday nights in Doncaster.

Also remember Manchester United NEVER try to buy the Title (they say) - and are always critical of those who do !

All Ferguson never complained about money until Man City first started paying silly money. It has been going on for years now, like a runaway car going downhill. The worry is that the high wages filter down the leagues.

I've heard that the money L1 and L2 review is set to double. Anyone else seen anything?

What he is saying is right.. but the fact that he has spent millions himself at almost every club that hes been at makes him a bit of a hypocrite.

He's got a cheek having spent nearly £200m on two players since he came in.

It's way out of control but while sides like united, city pay over the odds the market will remain overpriced. An extra five or ten million is nothing to these type of clubs whereas our club and others almost operate in another football world. In our clubs world- players are paid better than the usual working man or woman but it's unlikely they can retire on the money and if they do not for long.
The thing that doesn't change from club to club is when you get a new signing whether he is free or fifty million fans can't wait to see them play.
