I would be amazed if he dropped to L2 when he has indicated he wants to be a Championship manager.

speculation on Darren Ferguson should be kept quiet for a while, his head will be on other things.

Obviously, but that doesn’t change the fact our manager is second favourite for another job.

He was also made odds on for the Oldham job earlier in the season. Maybe his agent likes to get his name out there.

Not sure where that has come from.

Looks like BetVictor is only bookies running book on this and Ferguson not mentioned at all - closest you will get is Neil Redfearn way back on 25/1.

Weird this has come up because when we played them recently, something that struck me was how complimentary DF was about MK

and as i've told you many many times Dickov was once 5/2 favourite to be the Shefffield wednesday manager when they were in division one

you can only get a pittance on at any odds anyway

I know the person who priced it up for SkyBet and trust me it’s based on very little.

Not on any betting sites I have looked at. No mention of DF at all.

I can’t see this one happening. Mk isn’t much closer to DF’s home in Stamford than Doncaster is and I would imagine, given his father’s illness he won’t be mad keen on spending much time further south. Then there is the whole drop a division thing as well. He did say he didn’t want to be a league 1 manager though. Never mentioned league 2.

He’s going nowhere. I really don’t know how these stupid rumours start. It’s total nonsense. Now I have said that he will be unveiled as new manager of Barnsley tomorrow.

I'm not sure how bookies work, but if they can make money off something, I'm sure they will try whether there's any substance to it or not.
