Didn't think I'd ever hear the words "consumer goodwill" anywhere near anything to do with Ryanair, to be honest.

But there was restrictions within that customer goodwill as the ' goodwill ' gesture had to be used within a timescale etc etc .

Like I said before hood this company goes to the wall ,but I doubt it as the O'Leary chap is clever enough to dangle a big enough carrot to get the cheap air fare market booking with Ryanair again once the dust has settled .

Goodwill only means likeliness to use in this context, nothing to do with goodness!

It's getting to the point now that Iam more than half  expecting some more ridiculous news on the ryanair front .

That O'Leary will get them up and running again as I doubt it will be like a ranters gold shop downfall.

When you think about it if Ryanair did fold that would put a big increase on all air tickets across the board.

Not that simple, Monarch operated an all Airbus fleet and Ryanair operate an all Boeing fleet, Pilots would tequire re training

I think I heard on the news today that Ryanair are in a strong and healthy position, no chance of them getting into financial difficulties.

Some good news..
I'm on Easyjet and my flight is cancelled today.  However it's the Rovers that enabled me to rebook immediately for Wednesday.  Wife and I were at a wedding on Saturday afternoon, phone on silent, but as I took a quick look at latest score I got a text from Easyjet and was able to rebook straight away.  First time the wife has been pleased with me using phone when told not to!  Even better within seconds of rebooking we went 2-1 up!!

On the subject of flights, i've booked return flights for two of us to Amsterdam with Flybe from Donny for £80.

And people say its far dearer to fly from Donny.

We've got 4 brand new Monarch airbuses hiding down here in Newquay, with another 8 coming ths week. They wanted us to take 25, for up to a year. All leased mind and now in the possession of the lessor. Its sad, as pointed out it solves Ryan Air's problem as the pilots high ground has, crumbled they can re licence and many hold licences for most common commercial jets.
Its like he knew what was around the corner and called them out!!?
Also as always companies go under with brand new kit! Even is leased!!?! Always the same the establishment make a killing out of a crisis the serfs pick up the pieces.
