Fantasy Manager

Just a bit of fun really, I was thinking, given the squad that we have, if we were given the choice of having any manager we wanted from the Premier Lge, down to Lge 2, who do you think would be the best choice to get the best out of our squad, given that whoever it is, is not managing Premiership players, so who do you think would be the best choice to manage our team at our level, and why?

I am not knowledgeable enough about the game re- tactics etc. I just enjoy watching the games, (Well, mostly) but I read some fair old posts on here from members who obviously know a lot about the game, so just for a bit of idle curiosity, who would be your choice of manager, and why? Cheers!

Chris Wilder. Has the ability to get that bit extra out of players. Also impressed by what Paul Hurst has achieved at Shrewsbury.

No chance Wilder would come - he's doing his dream job.

Always hoped that we could tempt King Kev back home if even for a short period. It would be total madness but I reckon we would nigh on fill Keepmoat for first season. Not sure how he would cope with having bugger all to spend but after that performance against Walsall he would feel right at home with our defensive set up.

Thanks for the replies guys. A few have just given names as their chosen manager, and not given any reasons why they think they could make our team better. Why would Murinho be any better with us than say, Appleton? Be interested to know.

The Crowley brothers.  What they have achieved on shoe string is superb.  They have an organised team that seems to play to their strengths and not what the manager thinks the strengths should be

They are the sort of guys we're looking for. The sort who can make a team play above its apparent position. That's why I like what Hurst has done with Shrewsbury and also why I like Wilder.

That said, I don't think we've got a chance of getting any of them.

The Krays

Well, at least with them in charge we wouldn't be looked on as a soft touch!
