Well lads this is it probably the biggest game in the league this season at home, and with national coverage on T.V. as well.I hope we have a great time and enjoy the game, and show the rest of the country that life in the backwoods of South Yorkshire is still alive and kicking.
I hope to hear your opinions and thoughts after the game on here(they are always interesting) and would like to add, have  a great time and I will see you at the game.

Absolutely! And on a day like today, we should get right behind the team as loud and as proud as we can, and show some respect!

Do they have Radio Sheffield in them radio channels you can get on Sky (free as well)? You can get the BBC stations for Ulster, Scotland and Wales in there off the top of my head so it's worth checking.

But if it's on TalkSport then you definitely can get that. 0108 on Sky.

it's a good idea to scout around these local radio stations for people away from Doncaster you never know what Rovers commentary (or update) you might be able to tune in to. Anyhow i was thinking this morning what a hell of a good job their manager has done for them this season (come from a fitness background? a bit like the x scunny manager)-- let' hope it ends today -- how many of us thought he'd be gone by now -- and he seems like a "very nice man" --  not often CLH praises anyone :chair:

That was absolutely heartbreaking. But we did alright. Deserved to win and very nearly did. Doesn't feel as though we're in trouble anymore.

A very scrappy game which the Rotherham tactics caused, and it resulted in no  team actually dominating the game.
I thought that Rotherham came determined to spoil the flow of the game, play a long ball game and pin is back in our own half, and if we looked like breaking forward were willing to use the tactical foul.It is a type of game that more and more teams are willing to play against us as teams become more reluctant to go head to head with us.
Being at the game it was only when seeing the highlights on Sky that I realised just how blaitent the two penalty appeals were for a foul on Marquis, and a hand ball by Woods. Both should have been given.
No team really did enough in open play to impose themselves on the game,Rotherham starting the game well, and Rovers coming strong in the second half, another day we may have been given the penalties, but clearing our lines, and just playing further up the pitch would have seen us through again.Something we have been guilty of not doing before in games this season.

I know and feel the same as most supporters, disappointment  at losing two points in the last few seconds of a game, but reflecting on the game, I think we could have crossed a little line in that game yesterday.
Rotherham came with a distinct physical approach to the game, you could say to kick us off the park, and basically we stood up to it,and probably gave as good as we got. Certainly we were a lot stronger in the tackle, and the players at the back were strong in the air.
Rowe and Rodney went in for some crunching tackles,If City are wanting the lad to man up he is getting a good grounding. As Sky pointed out Marquis took the game to Rotherham and dished a bit back, and Houghton looked to relish the rough stuff,he is a good player, who we will do well to keep if he keeps playing the way he is week after week now he is fit.
Blair took the eye with some good runs, and was taken out with one late tackle that would have been a sending off in another game, but went back for more and is dangerous in the oppositions half.
As has been said by others, not a great game for the purists, and a disheartening way to end the match, but we did not fold in spite of the intimidation, a supposedly top six team were more than pleased to leave our patch with a somewhat lucky point, and our home support took another lift in numbers.
With two hard away games coming up,which we will discuss later,it is an important part of the season, add  hard cup games shortly,  and it may be the most important period of the season and we will need to stand up for ourselves like we did yesterday.
We need to keep the improvements up,we are nowhere near the finished article, and giving silly goals away has to stop(easier said than done) but over the last few weeks we have shown we can  compete, and our youngsters are growing some balls for the physical side of the game we did not show earlier in the season.

You simply cannot call our football entertaining!   We are set up to defend, and we do it well too, the objective is not to concede and to nick one off a free kick or corner at the other end.  We have not yet quite adopted the long ball kick it anywhere approach but our attacking football is almost non existent.  This is a pity with our biggest crowd of the season and an opportunity for me to watch it from home on Sky tv.  It’s no wonder our striker, playing on his own up front, looked so ineffective running everywhere chasing shadows.
Then after enduring this I watch Denmark v ROI in a World Cup qualifier with ROI playing this same defend defend then lump it forward football.  They succeeded in a no score draw and a second leg at home in Dublin.  But someone has to score a goal sometime to proceed surely that’s football, it’s so boring sitting back waiting for your opponent to miscue one of these defense clearing long balls to win a game   We pay to be entertained and celebrate attacking football and goals!
Good luck!

That's got to be the first time in two years under Fergie, discounting the Arsenal game, that anyone has suggested we set up to defend! No chance.
