Great result today. I missed it as not too well this morning. So wasted my ticket. I new we would win if I didn't go. Also missed the Plymouth game and we won that also. I think I better stay away !!!
Two very winnable games at home in Northampton and Rochdale coming up next week.
It is really important we win both those matches as there is still only 5 points between us in 14th and 23rd.
On the positive we are only 2 points off 11th place. It is so tight this season as only Bury look adrift at the moment.
I did say December would be a defining month as to where our season was heading and that looks so true right now.
Come on the Rovers 6 points next week and we will be looking upwards not downwards.

Probably. If Bristol had equalised today I think we'd have been one point above the relegation zone. That's how close it is

 Butler most influential in marshalling back line , Houghton excellent, ROWE a very clever tactician in his positioning and bursts forward , one which led to trip on him for penalty .
 I thought Garrett showed much more confidence in himself . Mason was strong in the tackle and in the air .
 Wright  was booked on sixty minutes for stupidly throwing the ball into the crowd so has to walk a tightrope for ever tackle in the last thirty minutes . DF for  line up and substitution 8.
   Team effort was very workmanlike and they managed to keep possession much better except for a 15 minute spell  midway through second half but the substitutions renewed the speed and energy levels again thanks to May for Beestin and Whiteman for Kongolo . Well done all of you including you tireless travelling fans !

I was sitting watching Sky Sports with Jeff Stelling waiting for that late goal going in for our opponents as it has on the last two Saturday's.  I'm pleased to say that the late goals went in elsewhere for a change.  Anyone know if we had any late "scares" or did we see the game out well this week?

We always get bigger crowds on Boxing Day. Not sure how many Northampton will bring. No trains won’t really have an effect as I doubt hardly any would go that way with prices

Seen the video before,but I've only just noticed the gas works behind the ground that they say,one of their nicknames,the Gas comes from,I can see why.The only time I seen Eastville was passing it,when it was abandoned,on the away coach in the 90's to watch us play them at Twerton park Bath.

I'm also hoping that ifollow will have worked through all their problems so I can try it again next season.

Target this year should always be mid table around 12th.  That marks a good season. Next year look to move upwards.
