Player Primary School visits
« on December 24, 2017, 11:34:33 am by moses »
My kids school had the Rovers player visit last week. What a positive effect this has on the kids and their view of Rovers.
My lad likes football, plays in a team  but can take or leave going to watch Rovers.
But after the visit from Ian Lawlor and Toffolo he is dead keen on going again and has got their autographs in pride of display in his bedroom. Loads of the boys were talking about going Boxing Day.
So a positive word for all the investment in schools work. I am not saying it turns them all into lifelong rovers fans but it keeps them interested in an age when they can watch El Classico highlights in YouTube.
Have a good one.

No bugger from Leeds or Sheffield Wednesday is going to be coming to do a player visit in Doncaster, so we have one up on them there.

Hope that the players do well after these visits keep the floating fans coming back even if they only come for 5 more home games next season they maybe become season ticket holders
