Something what gets me about away fans in the home end...In England, this sort of 'That's an away fan, chuck him out!' argument occurs pretty much every time it happens. I remember Charlie Swallow, in his days when he had a title at the club, going beserk because in a Donny v Peterborough game in 09/10, there was a fella wearing a Posh shirt in the home end. He turned out to be a mate of Paul Mayfield or something but that didn't stop him giving it the big 'un and trying to get the fella kicked out.Compare it to Germany and there's been various times I've seen opposing colours in the home sections, yet there's never any hostility and it's a more a case of 'Come here laddo, let me get ya a beer' and lots of friendly banter, football-chat, but never, ever any aggro.I was even at Inter v Juventus last season, a local derby (to a degree) and there were hundreds upon hundreds of colour-wearing Juve fans in the home sections. So why the f*ck is it perceived as a massive problem in England? It's something I'll never be able to understand nowadays. At the end of the day, so what if the bloke three seats away supports a different team?
I hope the players are up for it tonight, nothing pleases me more to see a has been club with fans that think they will steamroller us, being sent home to lick their wounds. We've had bigger has beens than this lot down at the KM and sent them packing

Were have you got the idea that we think we will steam roller you .....most genuine fans who have seen most of our games this season are very nervous ...we have had 7 years of hell under the venkys with nothing but a downward spiral ,tonight we are on the verge of promotion with something to look forward to .We are not stupid its eleven v eleven tonight and hopefuly because we sit 2nd in the table have a long unbeaten run we are pretty confident that this team can win ,yes on paper we have a better team but who knows ,and i know most of our fans are pretty nervous today...Would you not be if you were sat in the same postion as us and were taking 4000 to Ewood park ...Thats the ground of the one of the founder members of the football leauge, with a trophy cabinet most teams can only dream of...We may be has beens but as a supporter i am still proud of my has been club surely as a fellow football suporter you can at least understand why we may be getting a bit giddy ..
Perfect result tommorrow is a high scoring entertaining draw and Posh to beat the Shrews ,had great feedback from Donny supporters may the best team win
Interesting to looks at Rovers as a suffix - Blackburn precede us by 4 years with the name "Rovers" but they were preceded by Clapham Rovers by 6 years. Anyone come across any older Rovers?
Are they now Cefn Druids or do they no longer exist/compete at a much lower level?
