Harsh to criticise her for being fat, and her song promoted a positive message of inclusion. I thought the winning entry was easily the catchiest song, it's all about opinions of course but I did really like all of the top 3.

We deserved better, poor SuRie certainly deserved not to have her mic nicked off her by a t**t, but her song was good and her performance excellent but Europe really doesn't like us so we'll never do well again. I do wonder why we continue to stump up the cash to be in the Big 5 because we never get anything out of it.

Me thinks the war may be forgotten now BST. Norway who traditionally give us points gave us nothing, and the Dutch gave 12 points to the Germans! Thought they hated them!

I enjoyed it purely for the comedy value...The best song was Hungarys metal band but they were down with us..However we could have the best song and we wouldn't win..

Just f**king put Napalm Death in it or something. Our entries are always these design-by-committee songs that no one really likes or remembers, but when you're listening to it it sounds nice and you can tune it out. People always defend Eurovision by saying it's just a bit of fun - when's the last time one of our songs was fun? They all feel like they've been written by middle aged blokes in a boardroom somewhere.

Apparently, it was initially thought that the UK had won the contest. Then it was discovered that Diane Abbott had done the counting.
