Has anyone on here done this  ? I ask because my Carlisle supporting mate at work has named his youngest,Brunton !! He told me today I thought he was taking the pi$$ but he swears down it’s true and I believe him. Maybe it’s because him and his missus do have 11 kids between them and they could have run out of names

We named a dog Leo - the first game I took my wife to LFW scored a hattrick.

There is so much going on with this thread that I don’t know where to start...but it must be the 11 kids!

Rabbit called Darren and John. Fish called El Hadji. Unfortunately the other half named the dog Toby. Easy to know who she supports part time

Not past rovers players involved and a bit off the subject but my porn star name is Joey Barton - first pet's name (joey the budgie), followed by mothers maiden name (Barton). Had a few rums, p*ssed off after listening to tonight's game and on holiday so apologies for the tangential post but it made me smile thinking about it and seemed to fit, at least slightly, this thread!

I called my dog Ruben after Ruben Neves. He scored a good goal the weekend I got him and that was that.

One of my favourite rovers stories is of Mick Largent being called over the tannoy twice to get to hospital because his wife was in labour.

I was stood near him and he refused to move until we scored against Rushden and Diamonds and vowed to call his child after the scorer. That was before Dino Maamria scores with about a minute to go. I hope Mrs Largent isn’t Reading this.

You will have to narrow it down a bit as all he seems to do is score good goals !! Good old Ruben (the dog) - he doesnt know hw lucky he is - wonderful Player that Neves even in a YELLOW Shirt !

My dog was already named JET when we got him and even at 15 and a half he is still quicker than "our" JE-T was

It was the one against Wednesday when they were on Sky. He’s a class act isn’t he.

We named our dog Lily Belle. The Belle being after Belle Vue. I must admit the last bit is rarely used. I sound enough of a t**t as it is without shouting that in the garden.

Living in Maltby, the next door but one guy is a Rotherham fan and calls his dog Miller. I purposely call it Rover when I see it. His son thinks it's hilarious and winds his dad up about it. From little acorns...........

That one was a fantastic finish - a real pass it into the Net. Ruben (the Dog) should be proud

Still prefer this one though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxSED3F3VU8
