Win every week.

Win playing like Blackpool last night is my preferred style. Long-throws to a big target man, who'll dictate the box and cause problems.

Do people seriously turn up at football hoping to be entertained?? Surely when you walk into the ground you are just hoping for 3 points. The novelty of playing well and losing soon wares off.

I mean, it's an interesting debate going on in this thread but personally, I'd struggle to see the appeal in coming to football every week if the football was going to be shit every single time. You want to see the team playing well and being good to watch.

If you don't enjoy watching it there'd not be much point devoting 3 or more hours of your weekend to it so often.

When we won the league under Saunders the football was dreadful. People thought it was good because we were winning.

Nobody thought the football was good even then. People thought it was effective because it was but I honestly can't remember a single person who'll have thought the football was good to watch.

Sky poll 60 - 40  favouring "win at all cost football", This one almost straight down the middle, slightly favouring "good football". 25000 voted in 1 hour on sky, 86 on here had an opinion.

The football under Saunders wasn’t always as bad as is being portrayed on here.
There were some very entertaining matches that had you on the edge of your seat especially away from home which we won 1-0 or 2-1
Winning football is entertaining when you have a team of winners which that 2012-13 team was. The emphasis that season was on TEAM & TEAM SPIRIT
Well I was entertained even if some others were not.
It’s about winning at the end of the day isn’t it.

It's easy to dismiss Saunders but there were some decent games. Same under Ferguson. There were some highlights. But there's something brewing with McCann I feel.

It's like when you've got a dodgy stomach and you keep nipping to the shithouse. Few blobs here and there, the occasional one that's a bit runny, but you know the massive, really satisfying payload will be coming along at some point and you can just feel it setting itself up for entry. Love it.
