Kamar Moncrieffe

I notice Salford City have a young striker called Kamar Moncrieffe on the bench for them tonight. I wonder if he is related to the Prince?

BT Sport must be feeling a bit sick. Their beloved Salford are being beaten by Shrewsbury, while up at Hartlepool a real cup shock is brewing!

Ok, the game at Hartlepool has gone to extra time, so Gillingham might well prevail. But I'll wager it was a better watch than the National League Plutocrats being schooled by an average League One side.

Gillingham now winning 4-2, but after being 2-0 down, that's a decent FA Cup story.

Stelling won’t want to show those highlights.

Prince moncrieffe was very hard done by, he scored 8 goals in that team. Surround him by proffessionals rather than the managers neighbour and englands future massuese and he probably would have done well for himself in the football league.

Easy to say a game would be a better pick in hindsight but be reasonable. You’ve got two games where a National League side is playing an “average” League One side. Except in one game, the National League side is top so there’s a better chance of an upset. Plus the interest in Salford is undeniable. The BBC would have been daft not to pick that game.
