Lawler or Marosi

My money is on Marosi being the better saver of pens.

For me Marosi is better keeper overall,think he is better at coming for crosses,Lawlor is better with his distribution of the ball but think is poorer of the 2 with long range efforts.both are dent shot stoppers but could see why they changed keepers when they did as both are confidence players and marko conceded a few although none was really down to him and now it’s down to lawlor to see how he fairs after letting a couple in

he also had a spell of giving them away was it last season - yes i think he's saved more but as i say probably given more away  it's not that long since there was a thread on here about Marosi going to a bigger club

Can't really comment with any depth of knowledge due to my absence over the last 18 months - lawlor looked the better one for me in the first place, marosi played very well according to reports in his spell, and now lawlor seems to be doing well now it's his turn.

I never saw marosi as anything other than an excellent back-up keeper right from the time he first signed.

Lawlor for me - but as said earlier in the post - not really fully qualified to comment seriously!

If you ask me it is just nice to have 2 very capable goalkeepers. Its the 4 infront of either of them I worry about at the minute.

Both as good as each other as shot stoppers, neither is any good at catching a ball, Lawlor is willing to leave his line, Marosi sticks too it, Lawlor kicks better, but Marosi isn't too bad. They both need improvement to get within a mile of Neil Sullivan.

What? Marosi is the one far more likely to come racing off his line.

Marosi is far more agile and almost single handedly won us at least 2 games earlier in the season. Not taking anything away from Lawlor but up until Fleetwood had been well protected by an improved defence.
