« on February 17, 2019, 07:43:23 pm by Donnywolf »
OK I am pretty sure that he wont be banned as he was on 9 Yellows and this one was acrued in the FA Cup but the rules are so crap and given todays 11th hour shock with the Mallik Wilks one .... I just HAVE to ask
Can he play v Scunny (or is there a little known clause that says if you get knocked out of the Cup they add it to your League tally (wouldnt surprise me the b******s)

Ben will be playing at Scunny mate, unless he is injured.

After the fiasco with Mallik Wilks, I wouldn’t bet against him being banned

The FA need to get their act together. Disgraceful the way they handled Wilks ban.
We will have sorted all the tactics on the basis that he was playing.
Either the yellow cards are wiped out after the 3rd round or they are not. Do they not know their own rules ?

I would say no as he as 9 in the league and yesterday was his 2nd in the fa cup so surely he would of already served his ban if cautions in fa cupcounted towards the totting up count

I agree BUT after yesterdays fiasco I cant have any faith in the FA AND I have seen earlier this Season that there are a lot of what ifs that seem to come into play

I will have to watch the FA Site to see if BW stays on the "One Match away" Tab

Competition specific.

The FA Cup and the League are 2 separate competitions.

The confusion with Wilks was about when yellow cards in the cup get wiped out..

There is no ban yet for Whiteman in the league.

There was never no wipe out after 3rd round games only after 5th round, why should it come in after 3rd round stage surely if anything it should be after 2nd round just in time for when the top teams are entering so everyone it at the same stage

Might not be a bad thing if he is banned against  Scunthorpe. We could probably beat them without him.  Sod’s law says he will pick up his tenth yellow and be banned for a game when we would really need him.

It’s a 2 game ban for 2 10 yellows isn’t it.?

But Whiteman is not banned for the Scunthorpe game.

I'm sure you meant 10 yellows, yes any time up to and including the 37th league game.

Whiteman  and Kane are on 9 and Butler  is on 8. 6 games to go  :s

The wiping off of cards is after R6, not R5.

Sorry but AB has been on 9 for ages

http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/discipline/suspensions

Its a pain in the a** but put in Doncaster Rovers AND Division 1 (after pressing One game Away of course) and after about 2 minutes it will come up with BW and AB both showing 9

Herbie appears under Premier League - god that Site is b-a-d and its a Miss Marple job to find some of the stuff

The club must know - how about they keep an up to date list on the Club website........ you know, so the FANS don't have to spend ages doing their own research..... wouldn't take much.
