I just thought I’d put together all the remaining fixtures we and our rivals for 6th place have and put them on here for everyone.
I really prefer our run in to anyone around us even though every game is important, so fingers crossed we can get the job done soon in the next couple of games.

So, we have 1 game left v teams in the top 5
Peterborough have 2, but also 3 games v teams around them
Blackpool have 2, and 2 v teams around them
Coventry have 2, plus 1 v us
Fleetwood have 3 and 1 v Peterborough
Burton have 4
The ball is very much in our court and a win next week would help our cause no end.

That is how I see it Alan, hopefully we win our next two going into the Sunderland game and we will almost be there.

We have a decent run in and look to possibly hit form just at the right time. Take a winning run into the play offs and it can be ours.

If only football were that predictable.! If we never beat teams higher in the table it would be very boring.
Looking at the bigger picture, our prospects look relatively good however we need to concentrate on getting our points..
One game at a time will do.

Every game that we play Whiteman and Kane are nearer to a possible return. We have just had two massive results with a weakened team which not only boosts us it must dismay the chasing pack.
We are the only team that could possibly still go up with an average run of form from now in too. It's ours to lose and I'm sure that GM has more about him than DF in managing the pressure over the last six games.

I wouldn’t rush either back. Keep the team that’s winning at the minute and allow them both to get back to full strength in time for the play offs if we definitely make it which is looking promising at the moment.

Nice to see Herbie walking round the ground at the games this week and the fans reaction to him.
All too often loan players go back to their parent club when they get injured and are out for a few weeks. Its nice to see that we have kept Herbie as part of the team even though he's unable to play

One game at a time, there will be highs and lows in all those teams fixtures to the end of the season. The minute any of them take their eye off the ball, including ourselves, and start thinking about fixtures in the future and not the next one coming up, then that is when things will go tits up.
We have just had a great week really after a horrendous start to it at Luton by getting back to basics keeping our shape, and getting our better cleverer players like Rowe, Crawford, and especially Coppinger on the ball and making other players play, and two centre halves who have dominated at the back.
Keep doing that and we will be Ok. Then it is a three game season with everything starting again and nothing that has gone on before in the season counting for anything.
