Super6 update .... 4th May
« on May 05, 2019, 06:37:47 am by Donnywolf »
... just got back after an enjoyable game. I was totally relaxed after the second goal went in and there were only 4 minutes of added time. Then a night amongst the Fanzine glitterati at Doncaster Brewery to top off a great day !

Then Super6 and what a squeaky bum or two there must be at the top of the whole Competition. The guy who has led for literally Months but has been coming back to the field and with one Round left (reliably informed) his lead is down to 1 single solitary point. He has just cracked the 600 barrier as well and so his nearest rival has 599 - and with third place being on 594 he has 2 serious rivals
In the Round itself it was one of those tough weeks and only 1 player got 24 (4+2) Results seemed easy(ish) but nailing the scores was as difficult as ever

This was evident in our League with 2 winners getting 13 (1+4). They were Mick Wrght and John Jackson and well done to them. Dave Atkinson Jim Duffy and yours truly got 11 each and everyone else was in single figures.

The penultimate Round saw Robert Ghosh pull out what may be a crucial "gap" of 4 points over Paul Watson and now 11 over Mike Follows

Robert 548
Paul 544
Mike 537

Reliably informed that next Round is the last Round and it will be on Sunday May the 12th so good luck to everyone !

Yes it was a good day - and a good night mixing with and celebrating with the Fanzine's glitterati as it "hit" 100 Issues

A good night seemed to be had by all and with a Train to catch at 22.30 ish was over all too soon. I paced myself to get in 4 Pints and in the days only disappointment managed just 3 !

Also when I checked Super6 this morning I found I had distanced myself from 15th place and had roared into the top 10 at number 7 !
