BournemouthBrentford Hull City Rotherham Wigan Blackpool Bristol rovers Charlton Athletic Luton Town Peterborough Plymouth Shrewsbury Southend Wycombe And every league 2 club (except franchise fc in a huge crunch game for them with 4k away fans)My point is that the potential is there, just need the right marketing and pricing. Our attendances are going up alot.Maybe using the TLO and pub team phrases should now be dropped, no longer relevant at all. We're no longer a joke club, We are a serious club, which can be easily established in the 2nd tier of football. (the 5th most watched league in the world)Other clubs take us seriously, we should too, if we don't it will be harder to reach our potential.
Best tier 3 attendance for Barnsley in the 7 since the 12,800 in 80/81. You'd have to go back to 38/39 for the previous better average. No reason you can't get to 14/15k next season.
Tyke you should not moan at your gates they are 4,500 ave more than ours. Historically when the teams are at an equal level and both having a decent season your gates are around 2,000 more than ours. This season you have more than doubled the difference.Wish our ave was over 12,000 that is good for League 1You have nothing to moan about believe me.

It’s the location and occasion that attracts. All lower league clubs that attend play off finals attract massively bigger suppport that’s anything they can get at home. That said, I think Leeds could have filled Wembley alone that day we played them.
