Surely the club’s objectives for the 2019-20 season is to challenge for promotion not just aim for the playoffs, it's like saying we are happy in league 1 & just flirting with the playoffs from time to time no wonder  Saunders Ferguson & McCann all walked away

position of first team manager.

• A working knowledge of the SkyBet EFL or its equivalent
• A proven track record of securing results on the field
• Ability to develop a first team that can play an attractive style of football
• The ability to develop players and staff
• Success in managing a playing budget
• Excellent contacts within the football community
• Proven track record of developing a youth structure and pathway
• A proven leader
• A pleasing and willing personality
• A commitment to the vision and values of Club Doncaster

We don't pay enough wages to get a manager who fits all that criteria!

I think it was last year where GB mentioned the club's strategy. I'm not too sure where he said he mirrored it but for some reason I'm thinking Reading.

Along the lines of have a budget that sits around 7th in the league and we should always then have a sneeky peek at the play offs. Some years we will maybe just miss or some years over exceed our selves and get automatic.

So last year that happened, roll on next year.

Really then nothing has changed which is fine by me.
