Sad day for Bury.

Bolton Administrator saying takeover back on but may not be complete by 5pm. Therefore rather than liquidate he expects EFL to issue 14 days notice. We do not know whether the EFL will also suspend them for the 14 period and whether they will announce their sanction/decision for our postponed game.

I have listened to news articles today about both clubs and it is being reported as though they shouldn’t be closed down citing, amongst other things, that 150 people will lose their jobs if Bolton collapse.

The thing is that they are just badly run businesses who have fallen on hard times and they have no divine rights to survive.

In July a big company (Lunar Caravans) in Preston went into administration and the job losses amounted to 124 people.
I didn’t see a tv or media rush to save them.

These things happen.

I have been in the situation of not getting my invoices paid by bad debtors in the past and lots of it was due to bad financial management by the debtors.

Not a nice thing to have to deal with.
