Comment from NNK:-It's an absolute disgrace that, in one of the highest economies in the world people HAVE to rely on foodbanks. We're talking about people who are so poorly paid that they have no option. Ignore the crap you read in the likes of the Daily Mail, Sun and Express about them being too lazy to work; we're talking about people who have jobs that are poorly paid, people on zero hour contracts, people who - for whatever reason - can't find work. That is precisely the reason why I stand there and collect food at our home games.A lot of people make remarks that it’s for the homeless winos in town, I’m sympathetic to people that end up on the streets because of different circumstances but my volunteering was targeted at NNK’s above quote. Poorly paid, hard working, decent people with young families.
