Thats about right as 7-8 of the side today have been unwell all week, Sheaf came off at half time because of it.

Does that explain why Ennis wasn’t even in the squad?

I did notice during the second half Whiteman came over to the bench and took some painkillers.

Worth mentioning how many times Dieng came out to catch the ball today relieving alot of pressure.

I agree. it is good he comes and catches the ball, but his propensity to play with his feet in dangerous situations, and then passing to defenders when under pressure resulted in a penalty against us today. He has to curb the enthusiasm a bit and get back to basics of keepering.

Yesterday's game was a good result when taken into context of how poorly we played, and the way we gave poor goals away, and shows a  fighting side to this team that has not always been evident in teams we have had in the past, when we have sometimes been unable to get a scruffy point, or pinch a win.
We all now know that at our best we are a team to be reckoned with, we have some weakness's, but can play a game that is attractive and effective. add the cussedness to keep trying to play that way, and battle, which we did yesterday when we were not playing well, in hindsight could major moments be one of the major moments of this season.
Get the signings, and probably a couple of exits right in January ( the selections and substitutes could be a pointer to exits yesterday) could drive the club on to a good finish to the season.
