Both against decent mid-table opponents.

The sort who have hurt teams at the top of the table.

The sort who could step up and be play-off contenders.

Two games. 180 minutes. One shot on target against us.

This is what promotion sides do. They throttle the life out of decent opponents.

Somethings happened. We've got the top lads back and starting and we're looking very good.
Reckon the Sunderland type sides will still give us a kicking but the rest aren't as tough as them. We might just have a few more games in May to look forward to I reckon if we can keep that first 11 on the pitch.

Yesterday we had 65% possession and our pass completion was very high too. At times it felt pedestrian but with 10 minutes to go Bristol were absolutely dead on their legs - truly finished.

On came craft and pace.

I'd agree with this but looking at the Sunderland form since it looks like they've turned the corner and will probably beat anyone. Makes our poor performance against them look more understandable at least

It was obvious from Sunderland intensity of play. They can't have played like that very much before our game.

Rotherham, another contrasting style to ourselves, are doing what that do. Full of big lads, get the ball forward quickly and fight for it. Not a lot of flair and skill but effective. The game at the NY stadium looks again to be brain v braun!

Ipswich and Portsmouth are somewhere in between and will be up there for the run in.

I'm really hoping we get in amongst them in the table and show that on the deck football works.

Two very good wins but we dont want to get carried away because before our game Bristol only had 2 shots on target from open play in 4 games so they had been struggling. But you can only beat what's in front of you but good to see us keep going and winning it late on.
Two big games now but the team look full of confidence.

A win on Saturday & a draw at Sunderland would really underline this teams credentials as promotion candidates. Might possibly keep a few doom mongers off this forum too....no, silly me.

It only takes one defeat or even a draw at home & they will be out in force. But we can all at least dream of a quiet life.

What baffles me is that after a good result or two they don't give any credit to the players or manager. They just stay away until a bad performance or even losing due to bad luck. It devalues their opinions as it smacks more of following an agenda, whether WUMs or someone with a grudge against manager, club or even other supporters.
Appreciating the good times helps get you through the bad ones.

Bang on idler.
I think that the posters that are being discussed are probably WUMs.

all be it the latter has not won in there last 6 games, not that I'm trying to cry us down because we have done well 4 out of 5 last games, just let's judge after the next 2/3 games

2 draws in our next 2 games would be very decent. 4 points would be brilliant and 6 stupendous.
Both Coventry & Sunderland are very good teams in good form who are imo going to be in the play offs.
