We  shouldn't expect S_M to divulge the current figure. That's the clubs decision to make and how they want to deal with it commercially.

If that figure is correct, then that's extremely encouraging.

I'm guessing there are plenty like me that are holding back until such time there is more certainty about being able to attend. In my case, I doubt I'll be attending while there maybe restrictions on entry times etc. A big part of the match day experience is the meet up with friends for a pint etc and the luxury of being able to wander into the ground at whatever time you choose (and exit for that matter) Until that time comes, I'll carry on with iFollow.

There maybe others that are swayed by results on the pitch. Achieving good results with DM's team showing promise will keep folk interested.

Let's just hope the trials go well and we accumulate some points in the meantime!
Swayed by results on the putch? We could lose our next 10 matches and I would be there watching given the chance. As I travel from Nottingham I have no desire for the pre match meet up or pint. I go to watch a football game. If I am told to be in the ground an hour before kick off so be it and likewise if I am told to wait in my seat after the game. At least parking and traffic shouldn't be a problem under these scenarios which is more important to me than a beer before during or after the game

That's great that you are so committed, along with others who have already bought. I'm just pointing out other season ticket holders and other fans may think differently and might explain why season ticket sales are well down. That's not unique to DRFC of course. The majority have forfeited refunds, bought lottery tickets, bought shirts and other merchandise, bought a match pass but don't feel the time is right to invest in a season ticket when we don't know when we will be able to use it!

Well, not directly, but it gives you some indication of the amount of money coming in from ST sales. How useful that is to anyone with negative intentions, I'm not sure.

You could probably have a fair stab at defining a fair portion of a clubs income with the season ticket sale figures. Personally, I wouldn't be giving that (or any other) kind of commercially sensitive information out. The club operates in a competitive environment for anything from player acquisitions, to salaries and sponsorship and other commercial deals. The less information volunteered the better in my opinion.

I heard that we have sold around 3700 STs.
I wonder how they will manage to put 3700 into 1000 seats ?

It won't be 1000. That's for pilot test events. It will be round about 5000.
Is it 1000 on Saturday or 5000? Because Saturday IS the pilot !!!

What on Earth has our game at Charlton got to do with our season ticket sales, or the probable 5000 limited capacity at the Keepmoat?

Don't expect an answer, or at least not a sensible one. He still hasn't explained to me what exactly he expects the club to do about current regulations or why it's the club's fault that a global pandemic has stopped him being able to use his season ticket.
