I passed the bloodstock sales on the field at the side of the racecourse today. There must have been over a thousand cars there and at least 2000 people, they were all crammed mostly under cover into small sheds showing horses. Now how is that allowed and yet we can't go into large stadiums and social distanced.?

Because they aren’t crammed into sheds. The “sheds” are horse stables, you don’t go in them even in “normal times” , you stand outside and they bring the horse out if you want to see it, they then walk it up and down and you can examine it. It’s all outside other than when they go into the ring to bid - where social distancing is in place.

Maybe it might have something to do with the Health Minister representing the constituency which includes Newmarket and his party get donations from the horse racing fraternity?

... and Dido is on The Jockey Club Board as well
In January 2018 Harding joined the main board of the
Jockey Club
, which runs many of British horseracing's most popular events, including the
Grand National
, the
Cheltenham Festival
and
the Derby
.
