Much easier to pick someone today. Richards, Butler and Okenabirhie all commendable.

Agree with these 3, plus I'd add Matt Smith to the list of contenders, huge committed performance from him today.

Pity I can’t vote for them all as it’s to hard to pick

For me it has to be butler, not necessarily for his individual performance, but for the way the team played with him back. He also played great as well though!

I've slated him in recent weeks so credit where it is due, I'm voting for Taylor Richards today.

He pressed well for a lot of the game, made some nice passes in the final third instead of trying to do it all himself and played a big role in the first before winning the ball and scoring for the second.

We saw all the good things he can do today and I don't know if we'd have won without him.

Honourable mentions for Fey, Smith and Butler too. Oh, and Joe Wright who was much improved at full back.

I wasn’t able to watch today due to family commitments but I have voted for Butts simply because his leadership on the pitch must have been evident.
It is no fluke that we won today with the leader out there.

You can't fault Anderson's determination and passion as captain but Butler is miles ahead when it comes to leadership and organising people.

Agreed DO.    During that run in the team that he had it was AB who was doing the most organising and shouting.
His influence on the pitch can’t be questioned.

Agreed -difficult to choose but Richards gets my vote today - much more committed, involved, tackling (without fouling), and took his goal very well.
Shows what he is capable of, and if he wants to post the goal on Instagram, then why not.

AB for me, he’s picked himself , he’s shown that he has the balls to do it, it also  states that he has the ability to be available as a player for next season, he’s covered all angles.
He’s also taking the accolades of winning the game with a clean sheet. Well done Andy.

Close today between AB and Fey but a goal and an assist gives it to our number 9

How on earth you can take part in a vote for MoM without watching or listening to the game is beyond me, sorry

How do you know that all the votes cast are from people who watched the match.
Maybe the poll is void now.

We don’t, but thats you doing what you do and trying to avoid/deflect from the question with another whataboutery. You stated you hadn’t watched the game and cast a vote on that basis, bizzare!

That’s two threads that you have gone on to to have a dig at me now.
Good grief, I thought you were a moaner but you do prove it so often.
Isn’t there a political thread you can go on to have a dig at someone.

I think it’s the fact you voted for Butler and he’s simply terrified at the prospect of him getting some credit after weeks of revelling in sniping at him.

More than likely Jonathan.
It doesn’t take much for him to revel in having a go at me anyway.
Butler won the MoM by a country mile anyway.

Butler played well, he did a job what he has proven good at, it was nothing to do with what you suggest, as you well know

What if the only thing missing from Butler being a successful manager was an experienced leadership figure at the back?

We've kept 8 clean sheets this season, 5 of them have been when Butler's started. Butler's started 14 games now. So in the other 26 games we've kept 3 clean sheets.

We need a longer term solution as it is abundantly clear that Joe Wright is not the partner for Tom Anderson. That’s not a credible promotion centre back pairing. Butler can play a role maybe for the next year but we are going nowhere if those two are left as the centre of the defence.

Isn't that where Cameron John comes in ? Centre back is his natural position & an extended run there would see him claim the position i think.
He's definitely not a left back.
