If Lincoln win Saturday we can be Fergie’s nightmare by beating them & kicking them into the playoffs - then we can sit back, relax and watch them fail which would be so nice for us DRFC fans after their arrogance and fireworks party -

I think Peterborough will go up. But it will be fun to watch Fergie out of his depth again.

We’d all love them to fail yet again, but this is realistically all in hands of Lincoln now. If they can beat Peterborough on Saturday, then I am sure they will start to mentally disintegrate. We have a decent chance of maybe getting a result in the final game as they could have shit themselves by that point if Lincoln can beat Charlton.

It’s all a long shot but would at least make that final match worth watching!

Financially we could do with Portsmouth being promoted.

We always seem to play them at our place mid-week so they can never come up in their 1000's anyway in all fairness.

If Portsmouth went up at Lincoln's expense it would save us a fortune. We would probably get as many away fans for the game and wouldn't need the expense of extra diesel and an overnight stay.

Is this to do with Marquis? Or just supporter numbers?

Marquis at a guess, although based on last night's performance he's doing his best to scupper it.

Away days at Lincoln not so good for travelling numbers. Away allocation is about 1400, compared to three times that at keepmoat when part of east stand is opened.

Marquis may have a trigger clause when sold regarding any future promo.

He scored 2 good goals and the own goal was unfortunate, as the ball struck him and went in.

I'd say whoever gave the free kick away in the last minute was the one who was guilty of scuppering the promotion drive.

Its Marquis, we have a clause that helps us financially if they get promotion.

Does that balance out against a guaranteed six points?
