Dahlbergs's save at his bottom right hand post towards the end of the game was the 'match winner' IMO, not taking anything away from Tommy Rowes excellent headed goal, but it was the difference between 3 points or 1 point.

Cole Stockton was the player with the shot, now he looked one of the un fittest forwards I’ve seen but he looked a right handful and influenced play up front for them

Stockton indeed has been in fine form and is the top scorer to date in L1.
We did well to keep him quiet.

The penalty, or lack of was ridiculous, it's a pen & red card all day long.

Apart from the offside in the build up.

Apart from the offside in the build up.

There was no offside from the free kick. Diagouraga might have been in an offside position, by a foot as the free-kick was taken, but he didn't do anything to turn that into an offside offence. Looking at the replay again, it does look like Leigh who was pulled down might have been a few inches offside when the ball was played back across, but I can understand why the linesman didn't flag. Even from the position of the camera it was very difficult to tell exactly at what moment the ball was played and it would have been impossible from the linesman's position.

There were two much bigger mistakes by the officials in that whole event. Firstly the free kick was never a free kick. Williams made an excellent tackle. Secondly, as the free kick came over, Rowe had Stockton held in a bear hug, plain as day and the ref totally missed it. Very, very poor referee, that one was. That followed the one at Wigan who was an absolute stickler for making players take throw ins from the correct place, pulling players up for it time after time after time...except for the one which led directly to Wigan's equalisier, which he allowed to be taken at least 10 yards further forward than where the ball went out, catching all our players out of position

why a red card as most cases like that the ref will think the keeper is making a genuine attempt for the ball even if like we saw he wasn’t lol

So we're agreed then, I'll take any of your points, I think.
Free kick to Rovers ;-)
