Can't afford a slip up at Scunny. Obviously league points are the most important but to get knocked out at your local rivals who sit bottom of the entire football league wouldn't be a good look.

We have largely relied on loan keepers for the last few seasons. Some were talented, some less so. All of them made youthful mistakes, even Dieng (who is not that youthful but hadn’t played much league football before). I would have thought this was one position where you would want your own man as keeper, preferably an experienced one. Now we are no longer playing that absurd tactic of passing out from back, having a keeper who is also a sweeper should not be a priority. We just need a keeper who can block and save, not pass and shoot. If he can throw the ball to someone who can, that is good enough for me.
