Listening to the radio on Saturday (I forget which station, but a national one), the first sport headline was about a game between two top Premier League sides. My initial reaction was that I thought we were on an international break. I soon realised they were talking about the WPL (if that’s what it’s called).
Just now, I went on the BBC sport website to check on the FA cup replay between Stockport and Bolton. I had to scroll through the Women’s Champions League scores and the Women’s FAC scores (which weren’t even updating) before the Stockport/Bolton game.
Just two examples of how the media seem to be treating the men and women’s game with equal importance, or even swaying in favour of the women’s game.
I am certainly not sexist. I even consider myself a feminist, but this doesn’t sit quite right with me. I’ve tried and tried watching the women’s game at different levels and it just doesn’t float my boat. Not because I’m watching women play, but because it’s generally just crap to watch.
Am I at fault here for thinking this way?

I agree. I also think that there is now seems to be a drive to have women in all areas of the mens game. Commentating, pundits etc. I am not sexist but it just seems to be a clear agenda by the BBC in particular.
I can't stand womens football or women commentators commentating, although as pundits some put the men to shame.
