Ipswich or Rovers?
« on December 06, 2021, 02:03:44 pm by Colin C No.3 »
The sacking of Paul Cook by Ipswich must surely have a knock on effect for us as we search for our new manager.

I don’t know how Ipswich will go about their recruiting process but if both they & us advertise for a manager I’d imagine they would be a far more attractive proposition.

I only hope that ‘we’ve’ had a little more forethought as the ‘dismissal’ of RW became increasingly likely in that our recruitment plans are already well down the line.

The Ipswich C.E.O. has strong links to both Appleton at Lincoln and Johnson at Sunderland. There is a very good chance one of those two will get the Portman Road job, probably Appleton.

Chris Houghton would be good but Paul Cook would be my 1st choice.
