GM "Motors Up The League"

Let's hope we get an "electric" start rather than a shocking one

it's so so vital we get good results against Morecambe & Fleetwood (assuming the games are played) before 9 hard matches (on paper) against the promotion pretenders

I prefer matches on grass. Matches on paper are a fire hazard.

It’s wins that are going to count from here on…. a minimum of 10 should guarantee safety.  As you say, the next two games are vital and draws are not really any good in view of the next 9 games against teams currently in the Top 11.

I know that we need some optimism on the day of the new managerial appointment, but GM really needs to hit the ground running in these next two games, as at the moment it’s difficult to see where points will come from in the nine games after that.

Strengthening our squad will help, but other teams will be doing the same, so he also needs to make good quality choices and get them in as early as possible as we can’t go into these 9 difficult games with the squad we have now and expect to come out with enough points to keep our season alive.
