Deluded Callers Commentators etc on Radio Sheffield

I have been going to start this thread for yonks.  Some of callers live in the alternative world about their teams performances and prospects

and guess what just as i start it ..... they have extended the programme to two hours and watered the football down even played a record to fill in time .

I simply haven't got 2 hours to waste "live".

perhaps I might listen to it tomorrow fast forwarding the padding out

anyone else got any views

Well I actually like the programme & find the debate interesting most of the time.
As one person has already said, if you don’t like it, then don’t listen. It’s personal choice.
An advantage to people calling in, they tend to give their correct details & not hide behind a keyboard using pseudonyms.
I’ll continue to call in & listen.

that "new" format got absolutely "rightly" slaughtered tonight ( as i typed that word i checked to see if   Barnsley were "also": no only 1-0 at the moment, didn't even know Rhodes was at Huddersfield)

Nice moment here as the game is briefly brought to a halt to allow Terriers defender Naby Sarr to break his Ramadan fast.

Both teams use the chance to come over to the sidelines and take on some instructions.

Sorry I don’t usually post on rival sites unless we’re about to play that team but as this is about my club I’ll give my tuppence worth.

We’ve not played well for a few months now, we stay in games and somehow or t’other manage to get the result.

Today for example Plymouth had 2 glaring misses and 2 shocking quite straight forwards crosses that would’ve been tap ins.

Every match I seem to be saying we got away with one there.

We’ve got a tough run of matches coming up, let’s see how it goes.

Good luck with your battle 4 points is nothing at the pointy end of the season.

Because of where I live, I sometimes check out the stations here. Lancashire and Manchester. Well the latter, Wow. They make Bolton Wanderers sound like European cup and Premier league double winners. Nowt wrong with the station there.

Stopped listening became fed up of that Brian from Rotherham as it was usually rubbish. At least Brian the Blade was a laugh poor man.

Sammy I was thinking the same. A mate of mine who claimed ???? to be in the know reckoned that if the show was a bit dull they’d contact Brian to liven the show up

that Bev "watches" the matches on the radio  and comments according to what the partisan commentators say  and saying how they should play and always had some food almost in her mouth or nearby

I want Jed back on the Barnsley fan who used to put an accent on and go on about his ferrets - hasn't been on for years doing it  i recognise him when he comes on
