He may have been backed in January , but of the signings, who promised much, let’s not forget these are players not identified by GM. They were down to the recruitment team. We have seen little, if any product from this crop of recruited players.Some blame therefore has to lay with the recruitment. Which I’m unsure GM was integral to.
Would also like to say that we should trust the board with their decision. We only see a bit of what Gary Mac does whereas they see what he does on a day to day basis. If they really think he is building something which will turn our fortunes around then they should stick with him.If they have doubts then they should pull the trigger because now isn’t the time for gambling and hoping he will become a good manager.
I think GM should go but it would be very harsh if he leave and Younger stays. I suppose another manager might come in and it turns out the signings are all pretty good with a competent coach. But that all new signings were rubbish for RW and now GM suggest a issue with identification imo
