One of the favourites for the league. See how we match up with them.

Think I kind of got my prediction

Never mind the first fixture, five of the first seven will see how well we settle into league 2 football.

Been talking to a Bradford City supporter at Headingley today and he thinks they have sold 15.000 season tickets.
£135 for adults

Bradford first game of season be a big crowd, train tickets booked for Wimbledon.

I'm ready to book my train tickets to Wimbledon. The thing is, what about strikes? If one happens, can we get refunds?

I hope it's an away game, would love Orient away, a London away day on train in summer be a cracker.

This... Proper day out years ago there heat was unreal on first game.
100 degrees Fahrenheit. Yes 100 degrees. 1st game back in the FL. I think it was 7th August 2003  3-1 to Rovers. Leo FW x 2 goals & Gregg Blundell x1
I will never forget that match. 1.800 Rovers fans stood on the cop at Brisbane Rd in unbearable heat.

That was a brilliant day. I was living in Streatham at the time and met my mum and stepdad for a few jars beforehand and what a start to the campaign back in the league. Perfect day!!

Not sure tbh I think there is an option for insurance on them when booking but cant remember. I think we should be alright by then you would hope.

I suspect a few teams will be thinking the same looking at playing us - I think the predictions of us being 7-9th come the end of the season are wrong though, we will be top 4 :rtid:
I hope top 3 jmt23 but would love another trip to Wembley in the play off final. So long as we win.

Rovers v Bradford City would attract a crowd of 45.000 / 50.000 I would imagine.
Rovers v Harrogate Town would also be great. We would out number their support possibly 4 to 1

Anyway let’s not get ahead of ourselves. One game at a time. Top 6/7 at Christmas I will be happy with.

What's it like to drive to Bradford City? I've been on the train from Donny before but will be coming the opposite direction this time.

Bit of a shame Barrow is a Tuesday as I was looking forward to ticking that ground off. At least my nearest trip, Hartlepool, is around my birthday.
It shouldn't be too bad Alias. I would aim to get there early if you want to park near to the ground though as it gets very busy.
Don't park in either of the Forster Square retail parks as it is cctv and number plate recognition if you go over time which I think is two hours.
There is street parking within a five or ten minute walk. There is the Broadway shopping centre car park which is reasonable and again about a ten or fifteen minute walk from the ground. I'll ask my City mates where they park these days.

Cheers Idler! We have committed to going to the game now and will be driving it so would be keen to hear those recommendations.
I’ll get back to you nearer to the game. That way if any road changes or road works it shouldn’t put you out.
