Are we looking just for results? Or is it about performance’s even if we don’t get the result’s?
Or do we need a mix of both for confidence?

We're on a good run at the minute so confidence will be high. With good confidence performance wiill improve. With performances improving results will improve. With results improving confidence will get better. As the confidence gets better so will performances. With better performances come better results. With better results confidence builds.

Anyway its only a friendly on the hottest day since Jesus was a lad so you cant look too much into the result. But with a good performance confidence will grow......

We didn’t need to be losing against the non-league teams! I would think it’s now more about building fitness, understanding and togetherness. Signs of all 3 v Huddersfield, but we havn’t seen GM’s preferred team, or system yet.

More work to be done and triallists to confirm as permanents ( and options to be found if those offered decline). Then maybe one more sugar-coated loanee?

I'm quite happy with the way things are progressing. We may well be chasing shadows tonight, if Rotherham put a strong side out but we need to up are opposition before the Bradford game.

A war of attrition tonight. Not much between the side’s. Many will say all Rotherham do is lump it forward, they can play a bit and don’t get credit for that. If we get a good start we can win, if not it will be a draw. Not much between the side’s.

And a right back, unless they’ve been signed up, which is possible.

But imagine your posts if we’d lost all these friendlies

Alan his preferred system is 4-3-3  he only rarely changes from that if he thinks he needs to make a tactical change during a game.
I think he will almost certainly know what starting line up he will wish to have at Bradford.
That will be subject to any of our trialists signing of course.
